On-Site Wireless Network Design
An on-site survey determines the optimum location for your new access points by attending your business premises.
Based on the client scope of works (SoW) – Number of clients, Wi-Fi use, new / existing / extended wireless network and required areas of coverage, Akomplished Wi-Fi Solutions will:
Attend site and measure the existing environment.
- Determine the location of any current Access Points (if applicable / required).
- Determine any interference or Rogue Access Points.
- Determine the size of the site and the ceiling height.
- Determine all external and internal wall attenuation.
- Determine if the provided site maps are accurate – if not provide a solution.
- Determine the required areas of coverage and use.
Design the optimum Access Point (AP) placement plan.
- Using Ekahau Pro, akomplished Wi-Fi Solutions will input the map(s), draw all wall attenuations, create buildings, areas, scale, add exclusion zones and input all required data into Ekahau Pro.
- Place simulated Access Points onto the provided maps and determine the optimum AP placement plan for your requirements.
Create a comprehensive report outlining the optimum solution including exported heatmaps.
